In this tutorial, we will also cover the use of shape layers, expressions, and animation presets in Adobe After Effects.

Animating shape layers in After Effects is easier than you might think, and a technique which is very under-utilized. Combining different shapes and animation properties can easily create an entirely new animation with very little effort.

No plug-ins required.
